Chief Executive Officer

Dan has more than two decades of experience launching, managing and advising businesses. As Kimbia’s CEO, he leads the development and execution of the company’s corporate strategy.  Prior to founding Kimbia, Dan founded and headed a successful, professional advisory services business, served as Senior Vice President and CFO of an early-stage telecommunications company, and worked in various roles with Credit Suisse, PepsiCo and Price Waterhouse.  Dan has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.B.A. in Accounting from Harding University.

Richard Stanford

Chief Technology Officer

Masterful at solving business problems through the development and application of new technology solutions, Richard is a member of Kimbia’s founding team. As CTO he oversees the design and implementation of Kimbia’s innovative fundraising and event management solutions and continually solicits input from clients to ensure that all new product development meets their needs. Richard is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery and IEEE, the world’s largest professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity.

John Kinny

John Kinny

Vice President of Business Development

John has more than 25 years experience working in technology, primarily in sales and business development roles for visionary start-ups and global industry leaders alike.  At Kimbia, he heads the sales organization and development of partner relationships to ensure clients have a complete, seamless technology solution. Before joining Kimbia, John spent the previous decade in sales leadership roles for successful software start-ups including Journey Education Marketing, Whisperwire, and Motive Communications. John has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Pratt Institute.

Dom Granato

Dom Granato

Vice President of Account Management

At Kimbia Dom is responsible for building strong account relationships and ensuring customer success. With an extensive background in technology and more than 20 years of experience in client relationship management, delivery, operations and business development, Dom brings a unique combination of technical and people skills to Kimbia. Prior to joining Kimbia he held various executive roles at PcOrder.com, Trilogy and ADP. Dom has a B.S. in Business Computer Information Systems from Hofstra University.

Phil Murray

Phil Murray

Vice President of Finance and Administration

Phil oversees Kimbia’s accounting, finance and general administration. With extensive experience in the technology, financial and human resources sectors, he provides a unique combination of technical and people skills that is invaluable to the organization. Before joining Kimbia, Phil was CFO for Hattaway-Baxter & Affiliates, and Controller for Austin-based Tutors with Computers. A licensed CPA, Phil holds an MBA and B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Lori Finch

Lori Finch

General Manager, Community Foundations

With an extensive background working with nonprofit organizations, Lori is uniquely suited in her role of managing relationships with Kimbia’s community foundation clients and partners, helping to ensure their success. Prior to Kimbia, Lori spent six years at The San Diego Foundation where she served as Director of Nonprofit Programs, developing education resources and tools for more than 250 local nonprofits. She holds an MBA from The University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, and a B.S.B.A in Finance from Georgetown University.

Simon Essl

Simon Essl

General Manager, Kimbia Racing

Simon brings more than 15 years of brand and event marketing experience to Kimbia.  Responsible for overseeing Kimba Racing, he works with event partners to develop their business and build successful, lasting relationships. Prior to Kimbia Simon worked with clients like The North Face, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Anheuser Busch to develop and launch dozens of successful marketing campaigns. His varied experience includes being a founding partner in Carmichael Training Systems as well as running a sports and entertainment division for a global marketing agency. Simon holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University and a B.A. in American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
