Clients Making News: Senatorial Candidate Marco Rubio
At KIMBIA, we are careful not to take sides on the issues, but we do have opinions about great fundraising applications.
Previously, we’ve blogged about the immediate opportunity presented by partnering with sites that support your cause. Many of our customers have successfully reached new supporters by sharing registration and donation forms on the sites of their corporate sponsors, for example. We think this is an even bigger social/viral fundraising opportunity than Facebook and the social networks. Below is a great example from the world of politics.
Thanks to the great work of our partners at the David All Group, candidate Marco Rubio was able to raise money from a new source – the RedState.com blog.
Redstate has been blogging vigorously in support candidate Rubio. Using KIMBIA’s Anywhere technology, RedState was able to place Rubio’s fundraising forms directly on the blog, in context with blog posts about Rubio. RedState was able to not only sway opinion but also to illicit immediate action.
It is a good deal for both parties. RedState delivered a new value to their audience, the opportunity to really do something about the topic of the day, without sending their audience away to another site. The Rubio campaign was able to reach the community of interest on the RedState site, and acquire new donors and new dollars.
RedState quickly met their initial fundraising goal in just one day and has since set a larger goal for the month of June. See the tracker and the embedded KIMBIA form below.

Great work by all involved and a model application for others to learn from.
Here’s the question for our other customers – who is blogging about you? Those sites might be a great source of new donors, and with KIMBIA, reaching them is just a copy-and-paste away.
